Letter to Dick GammickOn February 19, 2010 you announced your candidacy for Washoe County District Attorney. Mr. Gammick you have served as District Attorney for Washoe County for 15 years. A former police officer, you have run unopposed in the last three elections and you now seek a 5th term in office. In your announcement you said that you wanted to continue your fight against lawlessness at the “highest standard the community has come to expect.”

Perchloroethylene (PCE) in the river and groundwaterThe residents of the Truckee Meadows currently are paying a tax to pay for the clean-up of the PCE contamination in our water supply. PCE is a dry-cleaning chemical that is highly carcinogenic.
